Papier d'Armenie is a natural air deodorizer made from the dried sap of the Styrax tree bonded to paper. The benzoin base note gives a very soft, sweet, pleasant scent. Caught in a classic and attractive booklet, this paper perfume incense is truly versatile and can be carried anywhere.
The Tradition booklet is a real classic. First produced 1885, its perfume's sweet vanilla and balsamic notes are evocative of the Far East.
Each booklet consists of thirty-six pre-cut paper strips, in twelve sheets of three.

Instructions for use
Perfuming paper
Papier d’Arménie can also be used without burning. Tear off entire sheets and place them in wardrobes, dressings, chest of drawers, books, etc. They will be perfumed with a subtle, delicate scent.
Burning – release scent in lit condition
Tear off one strip, fold it like an accordion and place it on its longest thinest side on a heat-resistant surface. Light it, blow gently so that the paper does not burn up. Papier d’Arménie should shimmer slowly.
Burning advise
• Burn one strip at a time, 3 to 4 times a week
• Ventilate your home regularly
• Never leave a burning strip unattended
• Do not leave the product within reach of children.
